Product Designer
About the Role
Rippletide is looking for a Product Designer to define and elevate the experience developers and enterprise users have with our hypergraph decision platform. You will own the end-to-end design of our developer tools, dashboards, and configuration interfaces β from initial concept through pixel-perfect delivery. This role sits at the intersection of complex data visualization, developer experience, and enterprise-grade usability. You will be the design voice on a cross-functional team, ensuring that a deeply technical product feels intuitive, powerful, and trustworthy to every user who touches it.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of Rippletide's developer-facing tools, including the CLI experience, API documentation, SDK onboarding flows, and interactive query explorers.
- Design and iterate on enterprise dashboards that visualize hypergraph structures, agent decision traces, and real-time system health in clear, actionable ways.
- Build and maintain a cohesive design system β components, tokens, patterns, and guidelines β that scales across our product surface and ensures consistency as the platform grows.
- Conduct user research with developers and enterprise stakeholders to uncover pain points, validate design hypotheses, and inform the product roadmap with evidence-based insights.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product Management to define interaction patterns, scope features, and deliver high-quality implementations through tight design-development collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on developer tools, data-intensive applications, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, with experience building and managing scalable design systems including component libraries, auto-layout structures, and design tokens.
- A deep understanding of information architecture, data visualization principles, and interaction design for complex, stateful interfaces.
- Comfort working directly with engineers β you can read a React component, discuss API design trade-offs, and contribute meaningfully to front-end implementation decisions.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders and incorporate feedback gracefully.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing graph visualizations, node-link diagrams, or other structured data exploration interfaces.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, or Tailwind CSS, enabling lightweight prototyping and design-in-code workflows.
- A background in or passion for AI, machine learning, or developer experience β you are curious about the domain and eager to learn.
What We Offer
- A foundational design role with the autonomy to shape the visual identity and user experience of an emerging AI platform from the ground up.
- Flexibility to work from our Paris office or fully remote, with regular team gatherings and a strong asynchronous collaboration culture.
- Access to the latest design tools, a dedicated research budget, and opportunities to attend design and technology conferences.
- Competitive salary, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits tailored to your location.
