Operations

Operations Manager

San Francisco, CAFull-time

About the Role

Rippletide is hiring an Operations Manager in San Francisco to handle the day-to-day running of our US entity. You will manage vendor relationships, HR administration, contracts, and compliance β€” ensuring that the San Francisco office operates smoothly and stays tightly coordinated with Paris HQ. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with direct access to the founding team and broad visibility across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Handle day-to-day operational tasks for the US entity: contracting, vendor management, compliance, and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, legal counsel, and benefits providers to keep administrative obligations on track.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle for US vendors, partners, and customers β€” drafting, tracking, and maintaining a clean register.
  • Support US HR processes: onboarding, benefits enrollment, contractor agreements, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain internal operational tools and processes: document management, CRM hygiene, and cross-border reporting.
  • Assist the founding team with data room management, investor reporting, and operational due diligence for fundraising.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, office management, or executive support at a US startup.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable β€” you keep track of what needs doing and do it without being asked twice.
  • Basic familiarity with US corporate administration: Delaware entity governance, contractor vs. employee rules, benefits basics.
  • Comfortable switching context rapidly across legal, HR, finance, and logistics tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; experience coordinating across time zones is a plus.
  • Based in San Francisco.
  • Entrepreneur mindset β€” you treat problems as opportunities, take ownership instinctively, and move with urgency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a transatlantic company (US + France or EU).
  • Familiarity with Carta, Ramp, Rippling, or similar startup ops tools.
  • Prior exposure to Series A fundraising processes or investor relations.
  • Previous experience as a founder or co-founder.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and early-employee equity.
  • Broad ownership and direct access to the founding team.
  • San Francisco office at 2 Embarcadero.
  • Full US benefits including health, dental, and vision.
  • A role that grows with the company.
