Operations Manager
About the Role
Rippletide is hiring an Operations Manager to handle the day-to-day processes that keep the company running smoothly. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: you will manage contracts, coordinate with legal and accounting partners, support HR administration, and ensure that our internal processes scale as the team grows. You will work directly with the founders and have broad visibility across all functions of the business.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks across contracting, vendor management, HR administration, and compliance for the French entity.
- Coordinate with external accountants and legal counsel to ensure financial and regulatory obligations are met on time.
- Manage the contract lifecycle β drafting, tracking, following up on signatures, and maintaining a clean contract register.
- Support HR processes: onboarding, employment certificates, leave tracking, and coordination with the payroll provider.
- Maintain internal operational tools and processes: CRM hygiene, document management, and expense tracking.
- Assist the founding team with board preparation, investor communications, and operational due diligence.
What We're Looking For
- 2β4 years of experience in operations, office management, or executive assistance at a startup or fast-moving company.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented β you catch what others miss and follow through without reminders.
- Working knowledge of French corporate administration: employment contracts, expense policies, supplier invoicing.
- Comfortable switching between tasks quickly without losing context or quality.
- Fluent in French; good working English for cross-border coordination.
- Based in Paris.
- Entrepreneur mindset β you treat problems as opportunities, take ownership instinctively, and move with urgency.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with French startup structures: SAS governance, BSPCEs, CIR, JEI status.
- Experience with tools like Notion, Pennylane, Qonto, or similar startup ops stacks.
- Prior experience in a dual-continent (France + US) company.
- Previous experience as a founder or co-founder.
